[Telegram from I. H. Kempner to Eugene Fish, November 3, 1944]

Telegram sent by I. H. Kempner via Western Union to Eugene Fish asking him to wire Governor Stevenson to request that he either not accept the Board of Regents' resignation or to reappoint them. He states that "the future of the University [is] more important than personal feelings or prejudices" and asks that Fish tries to convince others to also send telegrams to Governor Stevenson.
