Photograph of severe sheet and slight gully erosion on an unterraced field after a heavy rain. Notice how all the soil which has been loosened by the plow was taken out of the channel at the bottom of the drainage, and how the small gullies in general followed the direction of the lister plow furrows up and down the slope.
