The victim, Robert Donald Goodon of Newkirk who was discharged only four days ago from the army, was thrown clear of the vehicle. The car traveled more than 500 feet on the shoulder of the highway before overturning and striking a culvert. Goodon had driven to Oklahoma City to pick to the auto for a relative."
