He also states his agreeance with the Rabbi's desire to ask for a donation from Mr. Lasker in honor of his mother and father.

Letter from Wiliam M. Nathan to I. H. Kempner explaining that he has to attend to matters at his office and will be unable to make it to Galveston on Monday. He apologizes but references his work done in Dallas and suggests that Kempner will understand his situation.

Letter from William M. Nathan to I. H. Kempner and Rabbi Newton J. Friedman discussing his recent trip to Dallas where he spoke at a B'nai B'rith Day and addressed a small group of the Dallas B'nai B'rith to solicit donations for the Hillel fund at the University of Texas. He also mentions a meeting with George L. Dahl, the Hillel Building architect, to discuss certain features to be incorporated into the building. Last, he states that many people have mentioned a March 10th meeting in Galveston to speak about the Hillel Building Fund, but it is not on the last meeting's minutes. He suggests that Rabbi Friedman notify the last attendees of the upcoming meeting in Galveston.

Letter from I. H. Kempner to William M. Nathan expressing his hope that Nathan receives good news from Doctor Sachar. He also suggests that an upcoming meeting be held in Houston instead of Austin to be closer to Nathan.
