Podcast produced by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) that features an interview with UNT Alumnus Angie Ransome-Jones, author and ghostwriter for other aspiring writers. Susan and Angie discuss how she channeled the experience of losing her father into a book titled, "Path to Peace: A Guide to Managing Life After Losing a Loved One," and the ways in which the book led to her becoming a ghostwriter. They also discuss her roles in the UNT Black Alumni Network and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women's Dallas chapter.

Conversation at Aquil Ahmad’s agricultural farm
This is a video recording of a conversation of Aquil Ahmad at his farm with the farm laborers and when visiting his farms. The conversation starts with Mr. Aquil introducing and enumerating the benefits of technology in agriculture, such as the ‘Superseeder’ machine that plows the stubble left after harvesting and sows the seeds. Then he directs his workers on how to scatter the seeds and fertilizer. After that, Mr. Musafir arrives, and Mr. Aquil discusses the various farm produce in recent years and the required efforts and challenges involved. Then he asks Mr. Musafir to share his personal accounts with the researcher. Mr. Aquil too shares his personal experiences from the past. Later on, they both talk about political issues.

Effect of increased embryonic temperature during developmental windows on survival, morphology and oxygen consumption of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss)
This article applies a developmental 3-dimensional critical window experimental design for a vertebrate, using time, temperature, and phenotypic response (i.e., variables measured). To assess thermal effects on fish development, the authors examined trout hatchling phenotypes following rearing in constant temperatures (5, 10, 15 and 17.5 °C) and following exposure to increased temperature above 5 °C during specific developmental windows.

In vitro anti-diabetic effects and phytochemical profiling of novel varieties of Cinnamomum zeylanicum (L.) extracts
Article exploring the use of pressured and decoctions water to extract anti-diabetic phytochemicals from cinnamon. The extensive metabolite profiling of novel SW and SG extracts and comparison of that with commercially available CC are reported for the first time in this study. The C. zeylanicum, SW accession holds some promise in the management of diabetes.
