Copy of transcript for a letter from Elias Haines to John Rice Jones concerning his attempt to collect money owed to him by brothers Stephen and Moses Austin from Elias Austin Elliott. Haines was unsuccessful in his attempt and suspects that Elliott committed suicide after his disappearance.
