Berry, acting governor, Tuesday ordered W. C. Theimer, state fire marshal, and an assistant to investigate the blaze which Monday night destroyed the $18,000 lodge and boathouse at the Lake Blackwell recreation project near Stillwater."

Newspaper clippings pasted to a flat card, and laminated. The clippings correspond to an article about Mrs. Eleanor "Mickey" Brown, a Stillwater, Oklahoma resident who participated in WWII in WASP. The article includes a brief history of WASP and the personal experiences of former WASP members. Handwritten text on the card expresses fascination, by an unknown author, at Mrs. Brown's experience. The card itself has a text graphic, partially covered up by the clippings, reading "YOU made the NEWS!"
