Jo discusses his family fleeing Cuba, being rescued by the Coast Guard, staying in a camp at Guanatamo Bay, arriving in Miami, education and daily life in Castro's Cuba, American education, moving to Garland, Texas, visiting Cuba, and Cuba-US relations.

Interview with Miguel Soria, Mexican-born immigrant to Plano, Texas. The interview includes Soria's personal experiences about childhood in Mexico, his first visit to the U.S., illegally crossing the border to live in Dallas, Texas, and experiences with a human smuggler, along with his experiences as an undocumented person and with discrimination. It also includes his thoughts on the DREAM act and the immigration process, and advice for future immigrants.

Interview with George Holcombe, a Methodist pastor and civil rights activist from Houston, Texas, and his wife and associate Wanda, from Sims, Texas. The Holcombes discuss their family origins, initial exposure to racial problems and civil rights, their respective educations, pastoral work in Baton Rouge and Chicago, the Ku Klux Klan and dangers encountered, work with the Ecumenical Institute of Chicago and empowering black communities, the 1968 Chicago riots, Fifth City, and similar work in Australia and the Philippines.

Interview with Henry Day, a former paperman, delivery person, and member of the Civilian Conservation Corps from Dallas, Texas, regarding his experiences and memories of participating in the CCC during the Great Depression.

Interview with Bette Graham, inventor of Liquid Paper and founder of the Liquid Paper Corporation, which has since been sold to the Gillette Company. The interview includes a speech given by Bette Graham before the New Enterprise Club on March 9th, 1977 as well as a previous Oral History interview conducted on May 10th, 1969 and an Oral History interview on August 3, 1977. Additionally, there is a speech that was given to the Rotary Club at the Baker Hotel. Finally, there is a clip from the Dallas Morning News from May 14th, 1980 regarding the death of Bette Graham.
