The funeral was held October 1, 1970 at Kirby High School Auditorium, officiated by Rev. Allen and Rev. M. Frazier. Funeral arrangements were made through Tyler County Funeral Home and he was buried in Town Bluff Cemetery in Woodville, Texas.
