Living Legends is an exhibition project started in 1987 by JBAAL to photograph and honor black historical figures of Dallas. Awarded across twenty-one categories ranging from the arts, sciences law, politics, religion, and technology. The video begins with the performance by a choir followed by a reverend speaker who concludes at the 24:00 minute mark. The next speaker roll calls the names from 1987 and 1991 and concludes with 1992s' honorees.
