[News Clip: 1967 Texas State Fair Begins, Parade Rained Out]
Video footage from the WBAP-TV station in Fort Worth, Texas, to accompany a news story about the 1967 Texas State Fair. The opening parade was canceled by heavy rains. Footage includes scenes of fair-goers dodging puddles and rainfall; other fair-goers attempt to enjoy the events despite the weather. Some shop for wares at various booths, others ride the Comet, the wooden roller-coaster that served as a fair landmark since its construction in 1947.
