Conversation stimulated by walking through area immediately around the homes of Sumshot and Donnu in Thamlakhuren. Discussing on the use of Nthil arnaa a leaf used for all wrapping purposes of food items from cooked rice, meat and other green vegetables. For big ceremonies they are used to wrapped saa buw or used as a plate in big feast like wedding. Banana plant explained in details, about the use of leaves for packing apart from eating the stem, banana, its flower called mot poh.

In preparation for a syllable tapping experiment and to improve understanding and readability of verbs with prefixes, participants Angam Shankhil, Steney Leivon Lamkang, and Suungnem Bungshen read over the syllable tapping prompt transcript. The writing system was new to them, especially the way prefixes are written. The three participants discussed how to read the words.

A description of Lamkang Dap, a traditional trays - how they are used and made. These trays are flat and round, and made with cane and bamboo. They are used for drying paddy in the sun or inside the house on top of the fireplace place to dry vegetable and meat.
