Report summarizing the American Women's Voluntary Services Interim Meeting held November 8 through 11, 1945, in South Kortright, New York. The meeting was called by A. W. V. S. President Alice T. McLean and invited women from several organizations, government agencies, businesses, and universities with the intention of creating future cooperation and to discuss social, economic, health, and educational issues around the world. Topics discussed included Rebuilding World Health, Adequate Sheltering for All People, Adjustments of the Child to the Atomic Age, the Challenge of Employment Problems, and Democratic Education in the Post War World. After a final meeting, it was unanimously decided to hold an International Assembly in June of 1946.
