Box Fastener.

Patent for a new and improved box-fastener. This design "is an improvement in cover-fasteners; and it has for its objects to produce a cover-fastener which will securely fasten the cover to a box, which will be simple, cheap, and effective" (lines 8-12). It consists in "the base-plate provided with a perforation adapted for the reception of a bolt, a movable plate mounted on the base-plate and having a perforation and a slot connected with the same and having its movement limited by guides and provided with an outwardly-turned lug, a bolt provided with a neck, and a gravity locking-pin" (lines 90-98).

Patent for an inexpensive, simple, and efficient improved twin-jaw coupling that couples automatically and easily uncouples. Operators do not need to go between cars to uncouple the cars. Said partitions "[form] water compartments, the transverse partition providing a communication between the water compartments and being formed by a plate bent longitudinally at an angle and having its apex extending across the body of the churn, and the dasher arranged above the partition and suitably secured in place" (lines 1-8).

Patent for a new and improved clothespin. This design "has for its object to provide an improved pin that can be readily adjusted to any desired position upon the line, and which can be turned at any desired angle to clamp the clothes. The pin is constructed, preferably, of resilient wire—preferably galvanized or otherwise treated to prevent rusting of the same—and may be made in various sizes. [The design] form[s] the pin with an eye or ring portion, through which the line is passed, and with two sets of arms—one set having its two portions parallel with each other" (lines 11-22).
