The invention has "a novel construction whereby a loop is formed in the strand of wire which is to be tightened and the parts of such wire adjacent to the loop and brought into parallelism so that they may be intertwisted accurately and neatly" (lines 20-25). It also forms loops of different sizes in the wire.

Patent for a cultivator "in which all of the plow shanks will be adjustable to or from the center line of the frame in order that the cultivator may be adapted for working different kinds of plants" (lines 19-23). It is laterally adjustable, and the tongue is vertically adjustable.
