Patent for a new and improved ironing board. This design consists, "with the supporting-frame and hinged board, of the inclined bar pivoted to the under side of said board, the lever hinged at one end to the lower end of the bar and fulcrumed . . . to the under side of the cross-bar, and the treadle hinged to one bottom rail and passing under the other" (lines 75-82).

Washing Machine.

Patent for a new and improved washing-machine. This design "is to simplify and improve the construction of washing machines and to enable clothes to be thoroughly washed without liability of injuring them" (lines 10-14). This design consists in "a frame comprising the legs, the rounds connecting the legs, and the parallel horizontal side bars connecting the upper ends of the legs at each side of the frame, the ends of the frame being open at the top, a diamond-shaped washing-machine body journaled between the sides of the frame, the spiral springs arranged at each end of the horizontal bars" (lines 89-98).

Patent for an adjustable rubber foot pad or expander for horses. It can fit on any sized foot, does not put metal into contact with any sensitive parts of the foot, and can be worn for any type of travel. The parts can be easily replaced when they ear out. The pad can expand a contracted hoof naturally and easily.

Quilting Attachment for Sewing-Machines.

Patent for an improvement on a quilting attachment for sewing-machines previously granted to the inventors (no. 529,518). This patent is an improvement on "the general construction of the device, to provide simple means for adjusting the elevation of the track at its extremities to vary the inclination thereof and for securing the upper ends of the supporting devices to a stationary object, such as the ceiling, and to provide means for adjusting the inclination of the traveler-bar of the hanger to suit that of the track" (lines 14-23).
