Patent for "car-couplers of the class known as 'link-and-pin' couplers, and has for its object the provision of means whereby the coupling is effected automatically and whereby the coupling-pin is made to actuate the brake-shaft" (lines 14-19).

Patent for "a super bath-tub of that class in which the small portable or foot tub is provided with a removable shield and seat capable of enlarging the size of the tub and of furnishing a rest for the person using the tub." (Lines 8-12) Includes instructions and illustrations.

Patent for "a churn dasher to which a rotary movement shall be imparted by the resistance offered by the fluid to the dasher when the latter is given a vertical reciprocating movement in the ordinary manner, the rotary movement being constantly in one direction, irrespective of the direction of the vertical reciprocating movement" (lines 13-21).

Patent for a new and improved awning. This design consists in "[t]he awning frame, consisting of the pivoted curved rods, pivoted sectional braces pivotally connected to said rods, and the holding or suspending bars pivoted to said rods and having series of adjusting-apertures engaging pins or studs of said braces" (lines 74-79).

Patent for a simple and durable lumber truck that is "arranged to conveniently load and carry lumber to and from kilns and other places" (lines 9-11). It has double flanged wheels in independent frames that are connected by crossbars.

Patent for an improved machine that cleans and transfers seed cotton to a gin. It combines exhaust fans and a cleaning mechanism, and is less expensive than similar machines.

Patent for a plow that improves on turning plows. The improvement turns soil completely during operation, through a newly designed moldboard.

Patent for a new and improved roll-box for cotton gins. This design "is to provide for a cleaning of the seed-cotton at its first stage of ginning, and thus prepare the same for a more effectual cleaning at the second stage of the process after the same leaves the saws" (lines 24-28). It consists, "with the gin-ribs and the revolving saws working between said ribs, of an unyielding perforated breast-board arranged in front of said ribs and a supplemental perforated cleaning-board above said ribs opposite said breast-board, forming an inclosed seed-cotton chamber" (lines 73-79).

Patent for improvements in dry-kiln furnaces by using “a series of furnaces alternating with a series of heating or radiating drums parallel to and on a plane above the furnace,” (Lines 116-119, p. 2) and valved connected flues. This arrangement allowed the “heat being regulated and so distributed through the kiln as to produce a varying temperature, highest at the end where the lumber is introduced and gradually diminishing toward the opposite end, where it is taken out.” (Lines 21-26) Illustration is included.

Patent for a cotton gin attachment that cleans and separates the lint before it reaches the machines condenser.
