This tag is secure at its four corners "so as to obviate curling of the corners and to protect the ends of the fastener employed for securing the tag to the goods, whereby scratching of the hands and injurious contact of the points of the said fastener with the goods or merchandise are wholly obviated" (lines 12-18).
