Patent for a cotton elevating and distributing device, one that feeds cotton to multiple gins at the same time. This device is meant to save time and be simply and efficiently constructed.

Patent for a simple, inexpensive, and compact check-punch that can be operated by one hand and doesn't take much power to operate. The machine consists of two movable members, "one of which carries all of the male and the other all of the female dies, said members being so related that when moved relatively to each other in one direction all the male dies move as a single member...and enter the female dies, and when moved in the opposite direction all of said male dies are withdrawn" (lines 12-20).

Patent for a wire twister and tightener for wire fences. With this invention, "the fence-wire is caused to be contracted, twisted, and made taut" (lines 17-18). It is a set of toothed ratchet wheels that have v-shaped slots for the wire. Pawls act on the teeth, and springs and levers move the pawls.

Patent for "an improved method of reducing gold and silver ores and recovering their metals." (Lines 10-11) Includes instructions and illustrations.

Patent for a plow attachment that guides and aids the plow, and regulates "the depth at which the plow or cultivator shovel shall run in the ground" (lines 13-15).

Patent for a felt hat-pouncing machine that can automatically pounce a hat no matter its contour, and means are "provided for setting the pouncer or pouncing-roll to bear uniformly on all parts of the convex surface to be pounced" (lines 13-15).

Patent for a walking seed-planter that has a wheel which is hooked up to a mechanism that lets seed out when the wheel is turned. The wheel is turned when the machine is walked. The mechanism that lets seed out is a rotary seed-plate and a series of gears, bolts, and belts.

Patent for a durable, simple, and inexpensive riding-saddle. The seat, front, rear, and middle jockeys and cantle are made form one piece of leather. The rear quarter is laced to the cantle, and the saddle has a bag for storing articles during travel.

Patent for a "combined desk and cabinet especially designed for students' use to obviate the scattering about of books when writing, studying, or making reference thereto" (lines 8-12). The are two rotating sections: a many-faced book-rest, and a cabinet above it where books can be stored. There is also a sliding writing-board underneath the desk.

Patent for improvements in rotary pneumatic toys, "which can be carried by a child and caused to rotate by the action of the air when the toy is carried rapidly or if the air is violently circulated" (lines 11-15) including illustrations.

Patent for a dish cleaner that consists of an oscillating vessel where dishes are placed, which goes inside another vessel. The inner vessel has openings so the water can go in and out while cleaning dishes, and the vessel is hand-turned by a crank on the top of the machine.
