Patent for a new and improved hat and towel holder. This design is "compris[ed of] a base-piece . . . having arms and a cylinder cast in one piece therewith, the arms and cylinder being arranged in a horizontal position near each end of the base-plate, and connected together at their outer ends by the vertical arm, and a plunger provided with the finger-piece having a coiled spring arranged in said cylinder, and adapted to bear against the base-plate to provide a support for the coat or towel" (lines 7-17).

This design consists "[i]n a seed-planter, the combination of the seed wheel or disk having a series of seed cups or recesses in its periphery with a band or tire fitting upon the periphery of the disk having slots registering with the recesses and provided at one end of each slot with an inwardly-bent tongue forming an adjustable wall for each recess" (lines 32-39).
