Whereby substantially correct calculations may be registered or recored without using a series of superfluous or immaterial numbers. The machine will round prices up to the nearest cent. For example, $0.024 becomes $0.02 while $0.025 becomes $0.03. Illustrations included.

Patent for an inexpensive and simple tag to label bolts of cloth that is "a convenient means for fastening the [tag] in such position upon a bolt of goods as to prevent it from becoming twisted or turned, and so that the tag will always be held or supported so as to exhibit the markings thereon" (lines 12-16).

Patent for an improved wind wheel that has "every other blade...has a right angled extension or cup to catch the wind, the blades thus formed being set in the hub and rim of the wheel so as to have said right angled portions where they will receive the full force of the wind" (lines 17-22). A ring supports the angled portions of the windmill blades.
