Patent for a new and useful improvements in cultivators. This design is for "bedding cotton, corn, and all other seed which are planted in beds or rows" (line 14-18).

Patent for a water heater which connects to the furnace and uses the smoke and gases passing through it to heat the water in the water heater.

Patent for a new and improved coupling for railroad cars. This design consists "[i]n a car-coupler, the coupler having at its forward end a loop or link, hook, and connected rigidly with the ball or any suitable device moving in a passage" (lines 78-81).

Patent for new and useful improvements in Funnels. Patent is for the provision of a funnel having a valve controlled outlet.

Patent for a new and improved wire-stretcher. This design "has reference more particularly to that class of devices which are adapted to be applied to and removed from the wires at will" (lines 9-11). It consists in "the rigid bar, hooks . . . pivoted to the bar, and a laterally projecting arm" (lines 69-71).

Patent for new and useful improvements in insect-traps, including instructions and illustrations.

Patent for improvements in tobacco-pipes by providing “an improved construction of pipe having means for filtering the smoke, and means whereby the nicotine and tar from the tobacco will be absorbed and prevented from entering the stem of the pipe.” (Lines 14-18) Illustration is included.

Patent for a new and improved nut lock. This design has, "[i]n combination with a bolt having a cylindrical stem and a head beveled on its inner face, a nut tapped to receive the threaded end of the bolt and prevented from turning" (lines 73-77).

Patent for a new and improved nut-lock. This design "consist[s] of a strip of metal having the looped portion adapted to embrace the bolt, and having the downwardly-bent spring portion or end forming a biting-edge, the rearwardly-extending straight portion bent upward . . . to form a bearing point or edge, which is also adapted, in conjunction with the edge to grip the fish-plate . . . the forwardly-extending straight spring portion overlapping the straight portion, the inner curved edge of which lies in the path of the edge of the nut when the latter is turned upon the bolt" (lines 76-89).

Patent for improvement of a gun handle attachment to rifles and shotguns. It is intended to be applied to the barrels end for support and so the user has use of the elbow joint.

Patent for improvements to double plows, so that they are pivotally connected and can move independently of the other. Includes instructions and illustrations.

Patent for "new and useful Improvements in Non-Refillable Bottles" (line 5). "This invention relates to non-refillable bottles, and more particularly to mean sfor admitting air to such bottles, in connection with a valve-stopper for preventing the introduction of liquid into the bottle after the stopper has been placed in position." (lines 9-10)
