Patent for a new and improved cotton planter. This design "consists in the combination, with the slotted hopper-bottom, of the hinged and curved cut-offs and their spring, whereby the escape of seed will be prevented, except as forced out by the prongs of the feed-wheel" (lines 19-23).

Patent for a new and improved mosquito netting. This design "provide[s] a simple and substantial construction of frame for supporting the mosquito-bar that will admit of ready application to and removal from the bedstead, and also to provide a simple and effective arrangement of cords to the mosquito-bar, whereby it may be easily extended over the bed or folded out of the way by the occupant of the bed" (lines 12-20).

Patent for a new and improved seed planter. This design "features . . . first, reciprocating forked seed pushers or plungers attached to a sliding frame and operating alternately to deliver the seed through a covered opening in the bottom of the hopper, whence it passes into the furrow; second, an intermittently-rotating shaft arranged in the seed-hopper and provided with spiral or oblique arms for agitating the seed and feeding it toward the discharge opening" (lines 15-24).

Patent for a new and improved button-attaching machine. This design consists in "the combination, with the plunger, of . . . the die having a central projection to enter the concavity of a button and parallel oblique curved recesses in said projection . . . [and] a peripheral flange" (lines 84-99).

Patent for a combined rail anchor and tie plate. The purpose of the invention is to combine the aforementioned devices to prevent rails from cutting into the ties, overturning, and spreading.

Patent for a valve add on for a carburetor in order to control the air flow.

Patent for a dental broach holder that can be easily cleaned, and that includes certain structural elements that keep a dental broach more secure during use. The broach fastens on the outside of the holder, the mechanism of which "[prevents] loss of the broach in the patient's mouth during operation" (lines 92-94).

Patent for a new and improved insect destroyer. This design consists "[i]n a poison-sprinkling machine, the combination, with the wheels mounted on stub-axles, with vertically-adjustable rotary sifters in the rear operated by the wheels, of an arched frame connected to said axles, said frame having thills secured thereto, and an arched yoke having its ends bent outward to form neck-yokes and secured to the outer ends of said thills, and draft-arms secured to the sides of said thills" (lines 59-68).

Patent for a new and improved voting-machine. This design consists in "the combination, with the transverse bridge, through the opening of which are fulcrumed by means of a pin two parallel keys, said keys having pivotally connected to their fulcrumed ends to parallel pawls, the free ends of which mesh with teeth in two ratchet-wheels carrying hands indicating on a dial and having eccentrics upon their faces, two parallel narrow plates moved by such eccentrics to indicate the complete revolution of the hands, and a shield upon the top" (lines 124-134).

Patent for Jar and Can lifter designed to assist in transporting a can or jar. It is made from wire and acts as a removable handle.

Patent for a clothes washing and feather renovating machine with a stove for heating water. Illustrations included.

Patent for improvement on boiler washing machines so that steam is produced in conical chambers underneath a false bottom thus producing steam in less time and stirring the clothes as steam is vented upward and out of said chambers.
