Patent for an incubator with an automatic regulator for the flame of an incubator or heating lamp. The invention also provides an improved regulator arranged to raise or lower the wick of an incubator lamp in accordance with the heat in the incubator itself.

Patent for a time switch "which will be automatically operated to close the circuit and to open the circuit at predetermined times so that the translating devices in the circuit may be maintained energized for a predetermined length of time," (lines 10-15) including illustrations.

Patent for a terrace-marker that has "improved means for quickly and conveniently marking or laying out and leveling terraces which shall be light and consequently easily portable, durable and inexpensive to manufacture" (lines 13-17) including an illustration.

Patent for improvements in resilient wheels. "This invention relates to a new and useful resilient vehicle wheel embodying flat arcuate springs by means of which the tread or shoe of the wheel is resiliently mounted with relation to the hub."(lines 8-12)

Patent for cotton chopper. This invention is on a wheel mounted frame and is adjustable for cutting out sections at desired intervals. Illustration included.

Patent for "a new and useful improvement in composition fuel, the object being to produce fuel in compact form which will burn quickly, rapidly generating an intense heat, and leaving but a small quantity of a residue or ash" (lines 10-15).

Patent for a carriage bow support. This invention is designed for use with buggies and absorb shock and jarring motions. Illustration included.

Patent for an improvement to the plow that allows "for holding the plow-point firmly in position upon the standard or foot without the use of bolts and nuts." (Lines 10-13)

Patent for a gin feeder. This invention is designed with an automatic stop mechanism to terminate the feeding mechanism whenever the gin becomes choked. Illustration included.

Patent for an electric time switch. This invention allows for an automatic opening of an electric line at a predetermined time. Illustration included.

Patent for a railway signaling mechanism. This invention "relates to certain new and useful improvements in electric railway and block signaling in which means are provided for indicating in the engine cab to the engineer the condition of the road ahead" (lines 9-13). Illustrations included.

Patent for a fence stay. "This invention relates to means for maintaining strands or line-wires of fences in relatively fixed relation to prevent their sagging or being forced apart by the attempted passage of animals between them" (lines 7-11). Illustration included.

Patent for crushing fuel and introducing a combustible liquid, the combination of which is compressed by a vibrating plunger to create fuel blocks suitable for easy handling.

Patent for a pole splicing device. This invention is designed to splice two poles together, such as telephone poles. Illustration included.

Patent for a general utility bulletin-board. This device applies to various function whereby exists a need for posting bulletins and announcements. The bulletin board is made of elastic material to increase efficiency and serviceability. Illustrations included.

Patent for improvements to the machine originally patented on August 10, 186 by Edward A. Franklin of Brenham, patent no. 347,268.

Patent for a new and improved combined ventilator and chimney. This design consists in "[a] combined ventilator and chimney . . . composed of a central flue surrounded by an annular air-chamber, in the top and bottom of which are openings, flange, and case, provided with a water-shed or apron, in combination with [a] section consisting of a flue or chimney, having its lower end inserted in the flue of the ventilator and extending therefrom above the roof, and covered with a cap or caps, and its juncture with the ventilator protected by a downward-projecting hood" (lines 38-49).

Patent for a simple, practical, and reliable car-coupling with a side latch. It is "adapted for automatic connection in pairs, when two cars having the improvements are brought together on the same track, which will be capable of a ready release from the side of either coupled car, and also that will be adapted by its peculiar formation to receive support from one part of the improvements, when a coupled drawhead is partly detached from its connections to the car, and which if not so sustained might fall on the track, derail the car having the disabled coupling, and occasion the wreckage of said car and others of a train" (lines 14-27).

Patent for a new and improved vehicle wheel. This design "consists in the improved construction and combination of parts of a brace consisting of two rings secured together, and having recesses in their meeting sides, and provided with a number of brace-rods passing to one or two rings secured upon the hub of a vehicle-wheel, the spokes fitting in the recesses in the meeting sides of the rings" (lines 19-27).

Patent for a new and improved hydraulic excavator. This design "consists in combining a submerged propeller-wheel with a water-jet tube having a flexible connection with the supply-pipe, so as to permit the water-jet tube to rise and fall . . . and also move laterally, whereby the tube will, when it meets an obstruction, yield sufficiently to prevent breaking, jarring, or injuring any of the parts, the water-jet tube and propeller bearing such relative positions to each other that the . . . obstructions disengaged by the jet will be held in suspension . . . and carried off by the natural current" (lines 14-27).
