Sulky Plow.

Patent for a new and improved sulky-plow. This design "has for its objects to provide simple and efficient means whereby the plow may be caused to run level when breaking upon uneven ground, or, when after breaking, when one wheel is run in a furrow previously formed. These objects [the design] attain[s] by . . . the mechanism for lowering or elevating the [plow] for the purpose of leveling it" (lines 10-20).

Pruning Implement.

Patent for a new and improved pruner. This design "has relation to that class of pruning elements in which a concave chisel-edge is formed in the upper end of the blade and one concave jaw of a pair of pruning-shears is formed at the lower end of the blade, while a saw is attached to one side of the blade and a pivoted jaw is attached to the lower end, operating together with the lower concave edge, and it contemplates certain improvements upon the pruning implement [of an earlier patent]" (lines 19-29).
