Patent for an improved churn dasher "to thoroughly agitate the cream at the center of the churn-body and also around the bottom of the walls thereof" (lines 13-15) and "also to cause tangential streams or currents at the bottom of the churn, so as to thoroughly agitate all of the cream and effectively intermingle the air therewith" (lines 18-22), including illustrations.

Patent for a cotton chopper with a wheel supported frame.

Patent for a churn with a dasher with blades that is able to rotate to force the milk or cream in an upward and downward direction. Illustrations included.

Patent for a new and improved planter. This design "consists of a drum or hollow cylinder journaled to a suitable frame, said drum being designed to receive the grain or seed through a suitable door or opening. This drum or cylinder has at each end a peripheral beveled flange, and centrally around the drum a series of holes, and an adjustable strap or band, also provided with holes, so that when this strap is secured around the drum and properly adjusted the seed or grain within the drum will pass through the holes as the drum rotates" (lines 17-28).

Patent for an improved cotton elevator, separator, and distributor that is meant to move cotton from a wagon or storage, remove dirt, and deliver it to a gin. The "improved apparatus comprises a pneumatic cotton-conveying tube by which the cotton is lifted or carried to the distributor, a separator for removing the cotton from the air current, and a distributor comprising a trunk for receiving the cotton from the separator extending over the two gin feeders, having openings delivering into the feeders, and an endless chain conveyer moving in said trunk, causing the cotton to travel along therein and drop out therefrom through the delivery openings into the feeders" (lines 16-27).

Patent for a new and improved apparatus for impregnating liquids with gases. This design "relates to apparatus for impregnating water or other suitable liquid with the fumes emanating from the consumption of a combustible composition of matter, such as sulphur, which when ignited emits a gas containing suitable medicinal qualities" (lines 14-19). It consists in "the closed reservoir for containing the liquid, having windows upon opposite walls thereof, of the transverse beam having its ends supported in said windows, the sulphur-containing vessel . . . the man-hole, the air-hole, and cocks" (lines 4-10).

Patent for a new and improved bullet. This design calls for a cavity at the base of the bullet and a tube of flexible material to be inserted snugly into the cavity. This results in less wobbling after the bullet has been fired.

Patent for a combination tool that is "adapted without changing any of its parts to operate as a nut and pipe wrench, pliers, hammer, screw-driver, and nail-extractor." (Lines 12-15) Includes instructions and illustrations.

Patent for identification tags made of sheet metal, to be used with binding bands on cotton bales. Tags are economical to make, create little waste, and lay flat so they are not easily torn off.

Patent for a new and useful machine for spraying liquids and powers for " destroying insects and capable of spraying both liquid and powder separately or simultaneously" (line 13 - 16).

Patent for a new and improved pen. This design has for its object "to provide a simple implement which may be readily employed for writing purposes; and it consists in a thimble-like sleeve having a writing-pen arranged at its outer end, adapted to be easily applied to the index or fore-finger; and it further consists in the peculiar construction of implement" (lines 7-14).

Patent for making a new kind of building and fencing materials by using farm waste and inorganic settable ingredients such as quick-lime, clay or soil. No illustration.

This design facilitates "[t]he process of cleaning and tinting pecan and other nuts, which consists in first subjecting them to the action of a lye, abrading substances, and water within a rotating close vessel, and subsequently to the action of a dyeing solution in a separate rotating close vessel" (lines 5-11).
