Patent for an improvement in a churn-dasher by constructing the head of a dasher with a series of spirally-slanting blades, the front and rear edges are curved inward forming vertical openings with lancet-shaped ends. So that it would meet with less resistance when churning with the upward stroke.

Patent for an invention that stretches fencing wire that is being nailed or stapled into a post. The implement is also used for twisted two wires together.

Patent for an improvement in a wagon-brake using an operating-lever that is mounted in a bracket near the front axle, and consist of diverging arms; and a segmental rack-plate with teeth that is arranged to be engaged by a sliding pawl. When the operating-lever and the sliding pawl are connected; when the brake-bars are in motion, clamping the wheels of a vehicle thus making it stop.

Patent for a new insecticide distributer using a bellows, a rotary fan, and a tube connecting the bellows to an insecticide reservoir; when pressure is applied to the bellows, the insecticide would pass through the reservoir to a flexible pipe that would distribute the insecticide to any direction without the operator breathing it.

Patent for improvements in type-writers by compactly arranged many parts together, such as the sliding block, the vibrating plate, the feed-roller and etc..., "and in which the work can at all times be viewed by the operator. Patent for an improvement in vehicle-seats, intended especially for uses in wagon-seats, by constructing a supporting frame consist of two shafts, each having two cranks with two springs connected with the wrists of the cranks. The seat is supported upon these springs which are secured to the underside of the seat-board by employing two blocks that are safely attached beneath the seat. The movements of the springs preserve the horizontal position of the seat even when weight is unequally disposed. Illustration is included.

Patent for improvements in window-curtain holders,in which the curtain holder has a upper and a lower socket, “with the lower socket having a central opening and mounted on a base-plate, of the upper socket having a side opening and mounted on a base-plate, and the U-shaped clasp pivoted at its lower end in the lower socket and having its upper end laterally bent and designed for insertion in the side opening of the upper socket” (lines 84-92). Patent for improvements in thill-couplings by using a combination of forward extension arms, having each near its forward end, circular shoulders, adapted to engage the ends of the shaft-iron; the spring-catch for holding the lever arm in locking position and, for retracting arm when the catch is released. Patent for a meat-cutter designed for making meat tender by "running it back and forth under the knives and cutting the meat both ways," (lines 30-31) including illustrations.

Patent for an improvement in steps by using "a metallic frame or support composed of a series of light metallic plates, which are suitable shaped to adapt them for the purpose and then clamped and braced together,” (lines 13-17) includes illustration.

Patent for improvements in grain conveyers by using a slotted platform with parallel walls on the sides, a conveyer-block having arms and friction-rollers that is moved by an endless chain in between the walls, a lever keyed on a shaft and two gears in constant mesh with each other; all these parts working together to creating a mechanism that drives the conveyers in either direction to accomplish the binding of the grains.
