This design "consist[s] of a stationary block having a segmental groove in its under side, a stop at one end of said groove, an overlapping flange projecting from the outside bounding-rib of said groove, a rotary disk having a segmental extension, a flange projecting from the outer surface of said extension and adapted to enter said segmental groove, a circular flange projecting from the outside surface of the disk and fitting beneath the overlapping flange of the stationary block, said circular flange forming with the segmental flange" (lines 7-19).

Patent for an improved, simple, and inexpensive bedstead meant for use by disabled people. "The hinged head section of the bed may be adjusted to any desired angle of elevation" (lines 14-16). The bed can be adjusted with little exertion. The parts can be easily removed and replaced.

Patent for a new and improved kneading machine. This design consists in "the elevated upright rollers having grooves near their lower ends, of the tray or receptacle having the surrounding ring or track entering the said grooves of said rollers and supporting said tray in an elevated position" (lines 73-78).

Patent for a wrench, which can used "as a nut wrench or a pipe wrench" (lines 18-19).

Patent for an improved work clamp. The inventor claimed that the clamp was meant to be universal, allowing for several clamped pieces of material to be secured simultaneously for welding or other joining methods. The tool was meant to facilitate complex construction in a variety of machinery repair facilities and markets.

Patent for an improvement to clocks or watches that will display an indicator when the timepiece needs to be re-wound.

Patent for a new and improved sulky-plow. This design represents an improvement in sulky plows due to its novel combination and arrangement of crank-axle, tongue, angular guide-braces, diagonal brace, and adjustable collars (lines 85-87). This novel arrangement results in a plow that is simple, durable, and inexpensive.

Patent for a fender for automobile wheels, which keeps glass from puncturing the tire.

Patent for a new and improved cultivator sweep. This design "compris[es] a long thin blade, having its front end bent downward and rearward, forming a lip adapted to take into the earth . . . [and] the combination of the beam, the standards secured thereto, and the blade having the projections secured to the standards and having the downward and rearward turned lip at its front end" (lines 59-68).

Patent for a simple and durable improved releasing device for brakes of locomotive drive-wheels that prevents "the drive wheels from being locked and sliding on the track rails, to obviate the uneven wear on the wheel tire" (lines 15-18). The invention has an auxiliary piston connected to the triple valve piston and is controlled by back pressure in the steam chest.

Patent for a new and improved fastener for plow joints. This design consists in a plow-body, as well as "a hook upon its under side, a lever pivotally secured to the under side of the mold-board, a spring secured to the standard, and a link secured to the free end of said spring and engaging with the rear end of said lever" (lines 1-6).

Patent for an addition to self-closing swinging farm gates where a latch locks the gate with the force of the weight of the gate along with a modification to the attachment of the gate wherein the gate is made stronger and more efficient for it.
