Patent for a baling press for hay that is meant "to provide a press and suitable power for operating the same, and to so construct said press as to double the capacity of the ordinary pres, that is to form two bales at one time, the press being operated by the same power; and, furthermore, to provide means for conveniently transporting the same when desired" (lines 10-17).

Patent for new and useful Improvements in Combined Rules and Squares which makes it "possible to form a rigid straight rule or one or more rigid squares" (lines 24-25), including illustration and instructions.

Patent for a new and improved turbine wheel. This design eliminates water friction and alleviates pressure on suspended buckets, causing them to last longer.

This design consists in "the cylinder or body, the flaring bottom rim or hoop provided on its inner surface with suitable screw-threads, and also having on its lower peripheral portion diametrically-opposed lugs or projections, the perforated bottom pieced provided with suitable threads upon its peripheral portion, the upper curved or arched guide-arm having a central perforation and provided with screw-threaded ends having shoulders bearing against the upper side of the bottom of the bucket, said ends also passing through perforations" (lines 39-50).

This design consists in "[t]he rack comprising the sills, the crossed bars secured thereto and to each other at their intersecting parts and forming triangular sides, said crossed bars having the projecting ends, the cross-slats connecting the crossed bars and arranged in the angles thereof, and the extension comprising the inclined bars, the short crossed bars secured at right angles thereto, and the slats connecting the bars at the angles formed thereby, the said bars being detachably bolted to the projecting ends of the inclined bars of the rack" (lines 16-28).
