Patent for attachment for cultivators. The invention allows a cultivator's shovel to be spaced apart to facilitate the plowing of corn, cotton, and other similar products.

Patent for a baling press used for baling hay and straw. Illustrations included.

Patent for a new and improved churn. This design consists in "the staff-head having the slot . . . and opposite inside grooves, in combination with a dasher-stem head conforming to the recesses in the head and carrying a spring in an upper cavity thereof, a plunger having its toe resting upon said spring, and operative mechanism" (lines 77-83).

Patent for an improved, simple, and inexpensive bedstead meant for use by disabled people. "The hinged head section of the bed may be adjusted to any desired angle of elevation" (lines 14-16). The bed can be adjusted with little exertion. The parts can be easily removed and replaced.

Patent for a new and improved well-bucket. This design consists in "the cylinder or body, the flaring bottom rim or hoop provided on its inner surface with suitable screw-threads, and also having on its lower peripheral portion diametrically-opposed lugs or projections, the perforated bottom pieced provided with suitable threads upon its peripheral portion, the upper curved or arched guide-arm having a central perforation and provided with screw-threaded ends having shoulders bearing against the upper side of the bottom of the bucket, said ends also passing through perforations" (lines 39-50).

Patent for certain new and useful improvements in stovepipes, including instructions and illustrations.

Patent for a new and improved rock drill. This design consists in "the combination, with the bit having the inclined cutting-edge extending diagonally from one end to the other and the curved recesses formed in the sides of the bit, of the passage-ways or grooves at either end of said cutting-edge opening into the said recesses" (lines 64-70).

Patent for a new and improved nursing bottle. This design consists in "[t]he combined breast-pump, feeding-tube, nursing-bottle, and nipple-shield, comprising the bottle, the stopper having the openings, the tube, the plug, the flexible tube, and the nipple-shield having the nozzle adapted to be inserted in[to the] opening and attached to the flexible tube" (lines 6-12).

Patent for an earth-auger meant to dig post-holes. It has a lateral "cutting-edge and a continuous cutting-edge from its point to its top, said cutting-edge receding continuously and uniformly from the axis of rotation of the tool, whereby it cuts from the center outward and gradually widens or increases the diameter of the hole at any given point until this point is reached by the periphery of the ears or basin at the top of the bit, and, furthermore, to provide means for packing or smoothing the sides of the hole" (lines 13-23).
