Patent for a new and improved attachment for planters. This design consists in "the combination of a standard having a seed box at its upper end provided with a longitudinal groove in the upper side of the bottom, and with slots in the end walls registering with the groove and having an arm projecting laterally from the lower end, a wheel journaled upon the said arm, a seed-slide in the groove, a bell-crank fulcrumed upon a rearwardly-projecting bracket of the box, a connecting-rod pivoted to the wheel and to the rear arm of the bell-crank, and a connecting-rod pivoted to the upper arm of the bell-crank" (lines 41-53).

Patent for new and useful improvements in spring wheels sufficient to enable it to successfully stand up under the shocks and jars to which such wheels are ordinarily subjected, while at the same time having all the wearing qualities and resiliency of the pneumatic tire.

Patent for a "cheap, simple, and durable nut-lock which will be efficient to prevent a nut from working loose on a bolt, to prevent the bolt from turning in its socket, and to also permit the bolt to work or play slightlyin its socket to yield to the movement of the rails when a train is passing" (lines 20-26).

Patent for improving the design and comfort of footwear that uses a fastening strap across the top to allow the user to quickly put on and take off the shoe. The design will also aid in preventing and correcting foot ailments that can occur when the boot or shoe is used in situations that typical cause problems such as long hikes, marches, or standing.

Patent for "improvements in seeders or grain-planters, having reference more particularly to that class of inventions capable of planting corn, peas, wheat, oats, and cotton" (lines 11-14), including instructions and illustrations.
