Patent for a cotton chopper with a wheel supported frame.

Patent for churn-dashers of the rotary type for a churning machine. This will allow the cream upon contact with blades of the dasher to turn over and head town the bottom of the churn.

Patent for a metal corner protector for boxes. The protector covers both the inner and outer corners of boxes to enhance grip and prevent protruding edges from damaging goods.

Patent for an improvement of a polish mixture for wall and ceiling which is water-proof and has a glossy finishes; instructions and ingredients for the mixture are included, no illustration.

Patent for a new and useful machine for spraying liquids and powers for " destroying insects and capable of spraying both liquid and powder separately or simultaneously" (line 13 - 16).

Patent for a mail box with an indicating flag.

Patent for an improvement in postage or revenue stamps. Patent for postage or revenue stamp "composed of two superposed sheets or layers, A B, the top layer carrying the printed designs, having parallel incisions therein, and the bottom layer being provided with adhesive material on the back". Patent for postage and revenue stamps that cannot be re-used.

Patent for a new and improved plow. This design "relates to an improvement in . . . the construction of the mold-board and to the arrangement thereof relative to the plowshare. The mold-board, instead of being curved or concave, as has usually been the case, is . . . made perfectly flat, and so constructed that it projects at one corner slightly beyond the upper edge of the plowshare. . . . [C]onsequently the plow can be moved through the soil with less difficulty" (lines 13-25).

Patent for a new and improved grain heater. This design consists of a "hopper provided with [a] flange and perforations, in combination with the hot-air pipe, provided with the inverted-funnel-shaped mouth having its sides perforated" (lines 59-63).

Patent for a new and improved fountain attachment for inkstands by using a hollow float, having a central vertical aperture on the bottom, the float is placed in a vessel filled with ink. After ink is being drawn from the hollow opening of the float, the float is forced into an uppermost position thus closing the vessel to prevent the air from passing the ink contained in the vessel. The ink is confined in an air and dust proof stand, which can be easily cleaned. Illustration is included.

Patent for a new and improved street-car motor. This design consists in "the shaft geared to an axle of the car, the friction-wheels free to slide on the said shaft and having the annular collars, the rods . . . connected to the said annular collars, and the lever connected to the said rods to move the friction-wheels toward or from each other" (lines 16-22).

Patent for a new and improved shutter fastener. This design "has for its object the production of a simple and efficient device, and one that can be conveniently operated from the inside of the blind, but not readily tampered with or opened from the outside without removing some of the slats of the blind. . . . one part—a bolt—is carried by the blind, and the other part—a catch—is secured to the windowsill and locks the bolt, so as to unfasten the blind both hands are required—one hand to operate the catch, the other hand to operate the bolt" (lines 16-30).

Patent for "an improved device, easily attached,cheap of manufacture, and durable and efficient in use, which will dispense with the employment of weights and cords, and which will not be affected by the Weather to allow the window to fall by the shrinkage of the holder" (lines 14-20).

Patent for an improved, simple, and inexpensive metallic crosstie that has elasticity and the same vibration as a wooden cross-tie and does not require bolts or nuts. It can easily be placed or removed from rails.

Patent for a new and improved money changer and counter. This design "is to provide novel means for automatically assorting coins of different denominations . . . [and] to provide a series of graded pockets for the reception and retention of different coins of different denominations, and which will receive the coin only of the denomination for which it is provided; to provide novel means for discharging a coin of a given denomination from its pocket in order to make the proper change, and which will only discharge one coin at a time to prevent too much money from being delivered" (lines 15-30).

Patent for a corn slitting device for cutting the corn kernels away from the husks on the cob.

Patent for a strong, durable, and inexpensive culvert of any size. It "is designed to displace the wood culverts that are used almost exclusively for the manufacture of large-sized culverts, inasmuch as vitrified pipe is not made in sufficiently large sizes for culvert use, and the ordinary large brick and stone culverts are very expensive" (lines 15-21).
