Patent for cabinets which are "adapted to hold boxes of the kind used by druggists, as containers for medicines and small objects" (lines 9-11).

This design consists, "with the beam and mold-board, of an attachment which is adapted to be secured to either side of the beam in the rear of the mold-board, consisting of a curved standard having its lower end bent up parallel with and part way its vertical length, forming a U-shaped foot, serrations on the rear edges of the foot, and registering perforations formed in the standard and upper end of the bent-up portion, an oblique brace secured between the parallel portions of the standard, having a series of perforations therein" (lines 12-24).

Patent for a terrace-marker that has "improved means for quickly and conveniently marking or laying out and leveling terraces which shall be light and consequently easily portable, durable and inexpensive to manufacture" (lines 13-17) including an illustration.

Patent for an improvement in screens meant to prevent passengers from having to look at horses' hind ends in carriages. It is a rectangle of cloth laced in a frame, which is attached to the thills.

Patent for a rack that will separate the grain, straw, and chaff to the fullest extent.

Patent for a gate or guard to be positioned on a railroad track to prevent cattle or persons crossing the railroad track from turning up or down the track, and so avoid injury or death to cattle or persons. It is designed to be automatically activated by the passing train, and is of a simple design that is inexpensive to construct.
