Patent for "new and useful improvements in band-cutters and feeders" (lines 6-7).

Patent for a new and improved clothespin. This design "has for its object to provide an improved pin that can be readily adjusted to any desired position upon the line, and which can be turned at any desired angle to clamp the clothes. The pin is constructed, preferably, of resilient wire—preferably galvanized or otherwise treated to prevent rusting of the same—and may be made in various sizes. [The design] form[s] the pin with an eye or ring portion, through which the line is passed, and with two sets of arms—one set having its two portions parallel with each other" (lines 11-22).

Patent for a belt. The belt is used for fan belts in motor vehicles and to also have a resilient engagement with wheels without wear on wheels and pulleys.

Patent for a tube-vulcanizing apparatus "and in such connection, it relates more particularly to an apparatus for repairing inflatable tubes for wheel tires." (lines 10-13)

Patent for new and useful improved invention of wrenches include both pipe wrenches and general-purpose wrenches particularly.

Patent for an improved locomotive or traction-engine, with a series of water-shells, each containing "a series of fire-flues, a feeding-water heater, a pipe discharging steam" (lines 118-121), and a double-action plunger-pump.

Patent for a new and improved water-elevator chain. This design "has relation to that class of water-elevators in which the buckets are connected to an endless chain formed of wire, the several links being connected to each other by loops or eyes formed thereon; and the object thereof is to improve the construction of this class of wire chains, whereby the bearings for the links are greatly increased and strengthened and the general construction of the chain rendered more durable, also the links more conveniently coupled together or uncoupled without injury thereto" (lines 17-28).

Patent for improvements in the construction and design of well-drilling machines.

Patent for an agricultural plow that mixes the soil of multiple layers while keeping the soil in its initial layer to conserve moisture and deliver nitrogen. Plow can be motorized or use animals to function.

Patent for a tobacco pouch. The invention is a case that contains tobacco and cigarette-papers. There is a trough in the case to hold the perfect amount of tobacco to make a proper cigarette. Illustration included.

Patent for a pump controlling electric switch that automatically turns on the pump when water covers it and turns off the switch when it is dry.

Patent for a hair spring locator, a tool used to locate and measure the hair spring of a watch. Illustrations included.

Patent for a new and improved tent. This design is "to provide a tent-frame in such a manner that it may be readily folded into small compass, and which when extended for use will be very strong and serviceable" (lines 14-17). To this end, it consists of a cap, "of the rafters pivoted in the walls of said recesses and having their ends formed with a short incline or bevel and a longer or different incline or bevel" (lines 1-4).

Patent for flushing devices have better toilet seats and providing simple flushing system.

Patent for "Ricker's Crude-Oil Brick Fuel," a petroleum compound meant to replace coal.

Patent for improvements for vaporizers "of simple and highly efficient means for thoroughly and effectively superheating the vapor of water and oil" (lines 13-15).

Patent for a new and improved motor. With this design, "[i]t is to be observed that the beam is provided with a series of holes near one end, and the frame is also provided with a corresponding series of apertures, so that by taking out the pin which supports the beam and changing its position the throw of the beam may be regulated at pleasure" (lines 57-63).

Patent for peanut harvesting machine. It helps pull the peanut plant from the ground easily and aids in bunching them without having to use your hands.

Patent for a penholder that is worn on the finger and is an "open-ended hollow thimble with a detachable and reversible cap-piece" (lines 20-22). The pen-point can be unscrewed and screwed back in the opposite way so that the pen-point is inside the thimble, so the pen-point doesn't break in one's pocket.

Patent for a new and improved door check. This design is "formed of a single strip of sheet metal, comprising a base provided with a hole or holes for fastening the same in position, and one end bent inwardly and upwardly at an angle to said base to form a spring-catch, and the other end bent upwardly at substantially at a right angle to the base and thence downwardly and outwardly to form a fastening-flange, in line with the base, and a brace to strengthen the stop, said flange being provided with holes and the rubber buffers" (lines 70-80).

Patent for a new and improved door-check. This design consists in "the combination, with a sliding-bolt provided with a wedge-plate, of the catch or slide mounted on the bolt and capable of a limited longitudinal movement, and the adjustable bar arranged between the adjacent edges of the wedge-plate and the catch or slide and tapered toward its lower end to fit the edges of the wedge-plate and catch or slide, the said adjustable bar being provided with a stud which operates in a suitable transverse guide-slot, whereby the bar is held from longitudinal movement" (lines 26-37).
