Patent for a new and improved beer cooler. This design "consists in the detailed construction and arrangement of a cooling-chamber or refrigerator which is adapted to be attached to the faucet of the keg or barrel containing the beverage" (lines 24-28).

Patent for improvements in chimney-cowls by providing a “self-operating smoke-conductor especially adapted for use in all windy climates, to be placed over the discharge-opening of the flues.” (Lines 10-13) So that a “smoke-conductor can be automatically reversed or turned by the wind in any and all directions” (15-18) to carry the smoke away. Patent for coupling means for demountable-rim sections. Improved device that is simple, durable, efficient, and inexpensive to produce.

Patent for new and improved suspenders. This design consists, "[a]s an improved article of manufacture, the vest and drawers holder . . . consisting of the main bar having the arm bent downward from its upper end and provided with a clasp for connecting with the drawers, the main bar being also provided near its upper and lower ends with safety-pins for connection with the vest" (lines 60-67).

Patent for a pump attachment for portable cans. This invention is designed to be a attachable/detachable pump for use with coal-oil cans. Its purpose is meant for the transfer of coal oil to lamps.

Patent for improving the construction of plows. "The invention relates particularly to that class of plows in which a landslide is permanently attached to the depending portion of the beam." (lines 13-16)

Patent for "an improved plow especially adapted for use in plowing down listed or bedded land to reduce the same to a level and also adapted for other purposes" .(lines 11-14). The plow is designed to improve the physical construction of the plow making it better and stronger while eliminating past flaws.

Patent for a new and improved washing machine. This design "regulate[s] the pressure of the rubber upon the clothes, and thus facilitate[s] the operation of washing the said clothes" (lines 13-16).

Patent for a removable mouthpiece for smoking pipes that is made of rubber and prevents saliva from going into the pipe.

Patent for a new and improved guard for gin-saws. This design consists in "the combination of the saws, the breast, the grate formed by the ribs and hinged at its upper edge in the frame, guides upon the inner sides of the side pieces of the gin-frame below the saws, and a curved plate or guard hinged to the lower edge of the grate, formed by the ribs, folding inward, and having its edges guided by the guides so that it covers the lower portions of the saws below the lower edge of the breast" (lines 75-84).
