Patent for the "new and improved Baling-Press which is very simple and durable in construction, and is very easily operated by hand or other power" (lines 4-10) including instructions and illustrations. Patent for a new baling-press, including illustrations.

Patent for "an exceedingly rapid baling of the hay, to provide for the easy transportation of the press and the power employed in connection therewith, and to provide for the adjustment of the size of the baling-chamber" (lines 9-13).

Patent for improvements in car-replacers by using a jack-screw with a swiveled rest secured on top. The swiveled rest consists of an oblong box having rollers projecting above its upper edge. A windlass with a rope is journeyed in the jack-screw, passing through the swiveled rest, over a pulley and out of one end of the rest; the rope end having a hook or other suitable means for connecting it with the car. When the windlass is turned, “the car-body is moved laterally upon the rollers until the car-wheels are in line with the track.” (Lines 46-47) Illustration is included.

Patent for a new brake design that forms part of the driving mechanism of a sewing machine. The design has been adapted to include a plurality of small rollers that exert different amounts of friction on brake wheels.

Patent is for car door and support. It goes on to explain that the car door and support were created to serve as a means of forming an efficient rain-proof closure when the door is moved into closed position. Another object is to provide sufficient means for slide-able support for the door and locking mechanisms.

Patent for a comb-cleaning device which can be "secured to a wall, wires or cords being strung upon the bracket so that a comb may be stroked thereacross and cleaned &c., &c." lines 16-19

Patent for improvement in wire-fastening clips by constructing the clip using “a collar, a finger carried by the collar and extending above and below the collar, and a set-screw to engage with the finger below the collar.” (P. 2, lines 8-11.) This clip can be “adjustably secured to the fence-post in such manner that it may be readily raised and lowered, whereby the wires may be spaced as desired without necessitating boring of the post.” (Lines 17-21.) Patent for a new and improved insect trap. This design is "for catching such insects as are attracted by light, more especially cotton-flies, potato-bugs, and the like" (lines 11-13). It consists "of a frame having a bottom provided with an approximately star-shaped opening, the transparent walls mounted in the frame and forming re-entrant angles and providing entrance-openings and being adjustable to vary the size of the entrance openings, a receptacle arranged beneath the opening in the bottom of the frame, and a lamp arranged within the frame" (lines 72-80).

Patent for "an improvement in tramper attachments for cotton-presses, and has for its object to provide a tramper of simple, durable, and economical construction, which may be readily applied to any press, and which is designed to be operated by steam" (lines 8-14).

Patent for a nut lock with a spring locking mechanism that is designed to be simple and efficient.

Patent for a trace in which the "portion of the trace in which the eye is located, and which is adapted for engagement with a single tree, will be rendered as durable as any other portion of the trace" (lines 9-13).

Patent for certain new and useful improvements in milk coolers, including instructions and illustrations.

Patent for a strong, durable, and adjustable plow that has an improved sweep stock. The plow has an "implement for holding sweeps, half shovels, bull tongues, &c., all of which are needed in the proper cultivation of corn, cotton and the like; and a further object of the invention is to do so construct a sweep stock as to prevent it from choking by weeds" (lines 10-16).

Patent for a plow that improves on a previous patent granted to the inventors (No. 507,854). The improvements are that the "stock may be used in connection with any form of share needed for working a crop" (lines 14-16) and the plow provides "a sweep-stock with a point which will be integral with its shoe or foot-bar, and which will assist in holding the share in position" (lines 20-23).

Patent for a device which acts as "a simple and relatively inexpensive apparatus by means of which a camera shutter may be operated either for snapshots or time exposures, from a point at a distance from the camera so that the operator may be included in the photograph and yet be able to absolutely control the time and duration of the exposure" (lines 10-17). Patent for a new and useful improvements in Sash Locks to "provide a device of this character whereby the sash will be automatically locked in all its adjusted positions, thereby dispensing with the employment of sash cords and weights (line 13-17).
