Patent for a new and improved mosquito netting. This design "provide[s] a simple and substantial construction of frame for supporting the mosquito-bar that will admit of ready application to and removal from the bedstead, and also to provide a simple and effective arrangement of cords to the mosquito-bar, whereby it may be easily extended over the bed or folded out of the way by the occupant of the bed" (lines 12-20).

Patent for a bottle-filling machine in which "a number of bottles of equal capacity may be simultaneously filled from a common reservoir by the single movement of a lever" (lines 13-16), illustration is included.

Patent for a new and improved tie for bales. This design calls for one long, flat piece of scrap metal to be folded over on itself twice so that there are four layers of metal as well as a loop (or "rib") on either end. Then, a hole should be cut through all four layers with a tapered opening through the edge; this design is cheaper and more durable than previous bale ties.

Patent for a Ferris wheel in which the passenger cars rotate horizontally in addition to rotating vertically with the direction of the main wheel.

Patent for improvements in ventilators and protectors for roofs relating to "a ventilating combing or ridging for roofs of houses" (lines-15-16) including illustrations and instructions.

Patent for improving the method of tying the bales together whether it be cotton or hay so that the material will not get cut into by the wiring.

Patent for a hydraulic compressor meant to press cotton using the minimum amount of weight and the maximum amount of strength.

Patent for a new and improved process of production and distillation of turpentine, including illustrations.

Patent for a new and improved telephone. This design "consists, first, in a set of U-shaped elastic magnets adapted to be supported by the head of the person sending and receiving messages, the end of said magnet or magnets connecting the receivers . . . second, in the peculiar construction and arrangement of the transmitter attached after the manner of a swinging bail to the receivers . . . third, providing supports for the telephone when not in use" (lines 32-43).

Patent for an improvement in strap and buckle shields by having a flat elongated plate which has a longitudinally slot in the center. This shield can be movebly secured on to the strap to admit the tongue of a buckle thus the cross-bar of the buckle will rest upon the shield. By having this shield, the strap is protected from wear that would result from a direct contact with the buckle. Illustration is included.

Patent for a flue to be used in the Rembert system of bailing cotton. The flue is comprised of a series of valves to help regulate air flow in the condenser so as to aid in the uniform deposit of fibers maintaining a uniform shape throughout.

Patent for improvements in rail road-car breaks, starters, and checkers. "The nature of the invention consists in certain constructions, combinations, and arrangements of parts" (lines 19-21).

Patent for an improved Range-Finder for Small-Arms at an inexpensive price which can be attached at any rifle specifically designed and used in the United States Army.

Patent for a rail joint that reduces the shaking and noise when a train passes over it by keeping the track in alignment.

Patent for a rail fastening for padding the connection between the rail and the tie, which has a stronger connection than previous versions of this type of device.

Patent for improved Bale-Ties which is designed to unite the two ends of a binder placed around a compressed mass of cotton, hay, or moss.

Patent for a new and improved cabinet. This design "consists in a commercial postage-stamp holding, preserving, and denomination-indicating book, the same having its blank leaves formed of paper so prepared that postage-stamps will not adhere to them, and some of said leaves being provided at intervals with exposed tabs which have numerical indices marked upon them and serve for indicating the denomination of the stamps placed between the leaves at different parts of the book. It also consists in . . . a rigid outer supporting-cabinet provided with means for confining the book" (lines 12-27).
