Patent for a new and improved blind adjuster. This design consists in "[a] shutter-stop consisting of a slotted bar linked to the end of the slat-actuating rod of a shutter, in combination with a plate having a spur on one side and a screw-threaded stud on the other, a washer, and a thumb-nut" (lines 93-97).

Patent for a bottle that has a mechanism near its opening, and when the cork is pulled out, it becomes impossible to refill the bottle and use it again. The point of this bottle is so that after it has been sealed, it cannot be opened and emptied without apparent evidence that it has been opened.

Patent for "a device adapted for persons making a great number of small collections, such as railway conductors" (lines 8-10).

Patent for a new and improved hot-box alarm. This design "relates to alarms to indicate overheated journal-boxes; and it has for its object to provide a device of this character . . . which will be useful upon boxes of stationary engines, car-wheels, or any style or form of machinery in which shafting or boxes are employed which are liable to get overheated" (lines 8-16). It consists, "with a journal-box, of a cylinder supported upon said box and designed to accommodate a liquefying solid, a perforated plunger supported upon the solid within the cylinder and adapted to work through the solid when melted" (lines 12-17).

Patent for "an Improved Cotton-Bale Tie" (line 5) including illustrations.

Patent for improvement in hames by constructing them of sheet metal in order to prevent flatenning and wear on the hame. Explains how sheet metal hames are also flexibile in many attributes and because of this they are beneficial in many ways. Illustrations provided.

Patent for a certain new and useful improvement in nailless horseshoes, including instructions and illustrations.

Patent for a new and improved tie pin. This design "is to provide a simple and reliable device for fastening neck-ties or cravats, in place of the elastic loop and other means usually employed. To that end, by perforating the collar-button and providing the cravat-shield with a spring-loop, [the design] obtain[s] combined collar-button and cravat-fastener" (lines 7-14).

Patent for pipe. It is designed to insulate against heat and cold for all forms of fluid conveying pipes.

Patent for improvements in portable “type-distributing device which can be comfortably held in the hand and without strain on the wrist, and which is provided with a suitable main receptacle to hold the matter being distributed and also with auxiliary receptacles for leads and spaces, whereby the labor of distributing is greatly facilitated and lessened and the work much more rapidly accomplished.” (Lines 26-34) Includes illustration.

Patent for a new and improved sash fastener. This design consists in "[t]he combination, with a window frame and sash, of a fastener consisting of stops secured to the frame and formed with beveled ends and a shoulder . . . and a button pivotally secured to the sash and recessed to form a triangular projection, and a finger-piece extension, which latter serves also as a weight to effect an automatic fastening as the window is lowered" (lines 72-80).

Patent for a self-propelled truck that has free-turning movement, independent of the truck frame, and has a body that "may be low down and straight from end to end" (lines 29-30). This patent includes illustrations.

Patent for improvements in steam and water separator to “eliminate water, entrained moisture, grease, or other impurities from steam at any pressure and automatically discharge the water of condensation and other impurities from the trap and permit the steam to pass in a thoroughly-dry condition to the point of use.” (Lines 13-19) Illustration is included.

Patent for a fishing trap box that holds the bait securely and can be used for catching fish or crustaceans.
