"This invention relates to saw-filing machines; and the object of the invention is to provide a simple and effective device of this character which is adapted to sharpen with accuracy and rapidity the teeth of different kinds of saws." Patent for improvments to barrel stands and related to the "object in view being to provide a simple, and convenient stand for holding barrels and casks and permitting the same to be readily turned with slight exertion from a vertical to a horizontal position and vice versa" (lines 9-12) including illustrations.

Patent for improvements in "the construction of buggy-top attachments and to provide a simple, inexpensive, and efficient device adapted to be easily and quickly attached to and detached from the top of a buggy or other vehicle and capable of forming a complete extension of the same to protect the occupants of the vehicle from the weather" (lines 11-18), including illustrations.

Patent for new and useful improvements in coffee plots for "hot water to drain through the coffee" (line 11 - 12).

Patent for "improvements in coffee-pots, and has for its object the provision of an improved coffee-grounds holder, together with a device of improved form for spraying the water thereover, the latter device operating in conjunction with a condenser; and a further object is to provide the pot with an adjustable handle." Patent for an apparatus for cooking cotton-seed meal meant to get the maximum amount of oil for the meal used and puts moisture into dry meal and evaporates excess moisture in meal. Meal is continuously supplied through the machine and water-bath. The steam does not burn or harm the meal.

Patent for an axle-skein. Its purpose is "to improve the construction of axle-skeins, to increase their strength and durability, and to decrease the wear of the same at the bottom thereof" (lines 10-14).

Patent for a window-shade hanger that can be "adjusted to fit windows of various widths and shaderollers which vary in length and which may be readily put up and taken down." (lines 18-21) including illustration.

Patent for a Bagging-Cutter in order to cut lengths of bagging in an efficient manner. An innovation this provides is in shaping the bags into a roll or rope-shape before being cut, which negates the use of a knife to cut a longer width. This improves ease of handling roles of bagging and requires a shorter fixed-place knife.

Patent for a simple and expensive knee-pad used while picking cotton, berries, &c. The invention affords "the most perfect protection to the user by protecting his knee against contact with objects which would tend to bruise and injure it, and by preventing the dampness of the ground from being transmitted to the knee, which, as is well known, results in various diseases, such as rheumatism" (lines 13-20).

Patent for improvement in stalk puller by using “two pointed teeth or prongs peculiarly constructed, and secured to a suitable handle to which an adjustable fulcrum is connected, in order to allow the implement to be manipulated by persons of different statures and strength.” (Lines 18-22) Illustration is included.

Patent for improvement in treble-trees by using “two stretcher-loops that are jointed on the double-tree at points on each side of the centre, so that the strain is not at one point, but somewhat distributed.” (Lines 42-44) “The loops can be adjusted so that should there be any material inequality in the strength of the three horses, one can equalized by arranging the loops accordingly nearer to or further away from the centre on either one or both sides.” (Lines 45-49) Illustration is included.

Patent for "a new and improved apparatus for washing photographic prints after fixing, for the purpose of removing the double hyposulphite of soda and silver formed in the body of the paper during the process of fixing" (lines 6-11).

Patent for an adjustable clevis, consisting of a hinged loop and an eyebolt.

Patent for an “improved device to be used upon plows, and the objects are to provide means whereby the succeeding row to be plowed may be marked, thereby giving a uniform plowing to the field; furthermore, to provide for an adjustment of the marker, whereby the distance between the rows may be adjusted.” (Lines 8-15) Includes illustration.

Patent for washing machine. Objective is to make the machine inexpensive and capable of washing clothes with rapid cycles without any harm to the fabric.

Patent for improvements in baling-presses and is practically adapted to bale hay, in which “the hay may be held at the rear end of the frame against the pressure of the follower and head-blocks or presser-blocks.” (Lines 17-20) Illustration is included.

Patent for a "pounder" washing machine that can be easily repaired and operated with little effort. Illustrations included.

Patent for a support for scaffolds or ladders on shingled roofs. Illustrations included.

Patent for improvements in cotton-picker and cleaner by using rotary breakers combined with fixed breakers to break the branches and outer coverings of the cotton in the bolls. The cotton then passes through an “inclined-way” where the rotary breakers are spirally-arranged on a concentric cylinder to carry the cotton out of the cleaner. Patent for improvement in cotton-hoes for the purpose of saving time when spacing and thinning cotton plants by providing an angular handle with bent arms that can be attached to the back of the hoes. The hoe is made up with three separate cutters with spaces in between to allow young plants equally spaced in each row. The middle cutter can be removed when second thinning is needed to avoid injuring the plants. Illustration is included.
