Patent for a new and improved charger for revolvers. This design "consists of a cylindrical case of metal, pasteboard, or other suitable material, contrived with a centerpiece, by which a number of cartridges corresponding to the number of chambers in the cylinder of the fire-arm may be located in the charger suitably for being simultaneously entered at the points in the chambers of the cylinder and be discharged from the charger into the cylinder all at once to facilitate the loading of revolving fire-arms" (lines 8-17).

Patent for stomach-bitters (a bittersweet digestive aid) “a new and healthy composition of matter to be used as a tonic, and to be known as the ‘Improved Bitters,’ ” (lines 5-7) which includes ingredients and dosage. Ingredients are Cologne spirits (the highest grade of distilled alcohol), Ceylon cinnamon, orange-peel, galanga-root, zedoary-root, cloves, star aniseed, coriander, Roman chamomile-flowers, cassia-buds, juniper-berries, gentian-root, wormwood, peppermint herb, calamus-root, elder-flowers, lavender-flowers, cardamom-seed, and mace.

Patent for breech-loaded fire-arms, with illustrations. The purpose of the breech-loaded fire-arms was to improve existing fire-arms by allowing for a method to prevent accidental discharge.

Patent for a new and improved bench hook. This design "consists in a bench-hook constructed with a plate carrying a sliding bar, to which is adjustably secured a hook. The sliding bar and hook are locked in place by a clamp and cam attached to the plate, and the plate and its attachments are locked to the bench-front by a stationary lug attached to the plate, and a moveable lug attached to a lever pivoted to the said plate and locked in place by a cam, so that the said hook can be readily adjusted upward, downward, forward, and backward" (lines 20-30).

Patent for a new and improved concrete-raising apparatus. This design "consists in a mold in which a course of a wall can be formed, and in devices for raising the mold in the formation of another course. The invention also consists in details of construction and combination of parts" (lines 12-17).
