Patent for simple and effective metal-cutting shears that cuts hot or cold metals. The shears are mounted on a frame, and a hand-operated lever forces the upper shear down.

Patent for improvements to balloons or floating bodies in order to provide for a floating body "consisting of a flexible air or gas receiver, made to imitate or resemble animate or inanimate objects, so as to assume when inflated the shape of a human head or bust, birds, statues, animals, or any other desired object" (lines 14-19), including illustrations.

Patent for a new and improved multi-tool. Patent for improvement to fly traps. The improved fly trap electrocutes flies and other flying insects as they enter the trap. In the trap, there is a lamp that attracts flying insects.

Patent for a new and improved miter and framing square. This design "consists in the improved arrangement and construction of graduated scales, whereby I attain superior advantages in point of simplicity, durability, inexpensiveness, and general efficiency" (lines 11-15).

Patent for a quilting-frame that holds "the quilt in position to be sewed with an ordinary sewing machine" (lines 13-14). The frame has rollers on it.

Patent for a wheel-plow that is meant for southern states. All the parts of this plow are adjustable in order to adapt to different sizes of bedding.

Patent for "a combined gravel and sand washing box which shall effectually serve as a means for practically removing all sand and dirt from gravel and stones and all mud and fine dirt from sand" (lines 30-34).

Patent for "an outhouse which will be adapted for use in localties where water is scarce, or where it is either or both impracticable or undesirable to use water for flushing or draining" (lines 32-36).

Patent for a quilting-machine that is meant to "improve the construction of quilting attachments for sewing machines, and to provide a simple and inexpensive one, which will be capable of lateral vibrations, longitudinal movement, and a rotary motion, in order that any form of design may be worked" (lines 12-17).

Patent for an improved folding ironing-table that has "its top pivoted to the longer of two pairs of legs, the shorter pair designed to hold a cross bar which is adapted to support the table top about midway its length, when the table is opened and set up for use" (lines 18-22).

Patent for a new and improved box for boots and shoes. This design is "to be arranged beneath the counter, between the guide-strips upon the floor, and mounted on wheels, and provided with mechanism connected to the hinged lids of the boxes to raise the lid as the box is pulled out, and to close it when the box is pushed back to place again. This may be accomplished in several ways" (lines 26-33).

Patent for an improved steam-cooker in which different kinds of food can be simultaneously cooked in separate containers. Individual cooking vessels are removable from the steam-cooker.

Patent for a lock attachment for automobiles in relation to the gear-shift levers to prevent unlicensed interference with or stealing of the car.

Patent for "an improvement in those lamp-wick regulators which consists of a threaded rod operated by a nut and connected to the wick, whereby the wick may be raised or lowered by operating the nut; and the invention lies in an improved connection between the wick and rod, by which the wick can be raised with more uniformity and ease." Patent for a new and improved fruit corer and halver. This design consists "[i]n a fruit cutter, the combination of the pivoted knives having laterally-concaved facing sides and curved inward to the edges at the upper ends, the arms extending from one side of said knives near their lower end, and the vertically-moving guide-plate provided with the longitudinal guide-grooves parallel at their upper and lower portions and curving inward to meet at their centers, into which grooves the ends of said arms enter for the purpose of opening and closing said knives" (lines 22-32).

Patent for support for line wires that can be quickly connected to the line wire and at the same time preventing the line wire from being bent to a large extent.
