This design consists in "[a] fence or gate composed entirely of pipes interchangeably connected together by couplings, and consisting of the long tubular pickets and the intermediate short tubular pickets, each long tubular picket being formed by two short tubular pickets connected by an intermediate coupling in the form of a Greek cross, a similar coupling at the top of each long and short tubular picket, and the T-shaped couplings at their bottoms, combined with a series of horizontal tubes" (lines 54-64).

Patent for a mechanism designed for surfacing, cleaning, and polishing wooden flooring. Illustrations included.

Patent for a mosquito-net frame that can support a tester, but does not require one to operate. The net can be draped over a bed and moved out of the way again without interfering with the tester.

Patent for "a simple and durable construction of mop in which the fibre holding element consists of strands of twisted wire" (lines 9-11) designed such that the mop maintains its shape with or without the handle, including illustrations.

Patent for a coupling device for train pipes used on railroad trains to connect fluid conduits and similar pipes.

Patent for drying briquets. Briquets are placed on a track, which is then rotated by chains as it dries, before falling into a stack in a chamber. This allows for faster, more even drying of the briquets before use.

Patent for the improvement of vertical reamers used in the drilling of wells. Intended to provide a multi-bladed reamer that expands holes more evenly with less parts than previous models.

Patent for improvements to cotton-meal heaters "to provide means to communicate as much heat as possible to the meal contained in the heater in as short a time as possible, and to retain the heat in the meal until it has all been used in forming the cakes" (lines 18-22).

This design consists in "[t]he combination, in an animal-trap having an inclined bottom and opposite sides, of a winch journaled at one end thereof, a movable platform mounted on the bottom and provided with opposite posts at its front end, a gate hinged to one of said posts, and opposite chains connected to the winch at one end and passing over drums located at the opposite ends of the sides, the opposite terminals of the chains being connected to the opposite posts" (lines 6-16).

Patent for a signal to be placed on the fender of a motor vehicle to indicate to other drivers the intended direction the vehicle is going.

Patent for a new method of seperating liquids, specifically those "in which particles of one liquid are held, or bound in mechanical suspension in another" (lines 10-12). The inventor provides the specific example of water and crude oil.

Patent for improvements to a core-taking device which will "form a core, in the process of drilling, and embodies means for severing the core, when formed, and retaining the same in the core barrel until, it is withdrawn for inspection" (lines 13-17), including illustrations.
