Patent for a cotton picking needle that relates to machines for picking cotton. More particularly to a novel form of picking needle especially designed for use in connection with a picking machine of that type shown for example.

Patent for a simple foot tub that has a cover with openings for the feet and curved backing as a foot rest to allow the use of the tub while lying down such as in the case of an invalid. The tub also includes a spout for filling the tub that closes to keep heat and steam inside the tub.

Patent for a toboggan slide for use in amusement parks that is easily taken up and down and includes guard rails and ant-friction devices to help guide the toboggan down the slide. It also provides a method of easily moving toboggans from one slide to another.

Patent for can-opener which uses a fulcrum point that pierces the center of the can's lid and a circular blade to cut an opening around the circumference.

Patent for improvements in beehives: "invention is to improve the construction of beehives and to provide a simple and efficient one, which will permit food to be readily supplied to the bees when desired and enable the apiarian to have him to cut bee entrances to the same." (lines 9-15).

Patent for a new and improved violin peg. This design "has for its object to dispense with the usual string-aperture in the peg and to so construct the peg that a string may be expeditiously, conveniently, and securely attached thereto and as readily and conveniently removed therefrom, as desired, and to accomplish these objects without disfiguring the peg" (lines 11-18).

Patent for improvements in lubricators by mounting a box, with a pair holes near its ends, on a bearing; with partitions across the box adjacent each holes, a pair of cord shape wicks and a depending flange, depressing the wicks to the bottom of the box. “When the box filled with liquid lubricant and the cover closed, the lower edge of the flange depresses the wicks, submerging them at the center of the box, and the wicks absorb oil at this point, the oil is lead thence by capillary attraction along the wicks down through the holes in the bottom of the box and into the groove, whence it is delivered by direct contact upon the upper side of the rotating shaft which it is desired to lubricate.” (Lines 52-63) Illustration is included.

Patent for a new and improved wagon brake. This design consists, "with the vehicle, of the rock-shaft arranged upon opposite sides of the rear wheels, the bell-crank lever fulcrumed on the body between said shaft, the rod connecting the rear shaft and one arm of said lever, the bar pivoted to the other arm of the lever and the front rock-shaft, and the operating lever provided with the integral arm arranged at an angle to the lever and connected with the front rock-shaft" (lines 92-101).
