Patent for improvements in apparatus for handling and cleaning seed-cotton that “use a pneumatic tube, through which cotton is drawn by an exhaust-current.” (Lines17-19) Illustration is included.

Patent for improvements in animal-treads when “animal is placed in the tread, the single or double tree being attached to the arm c’, and thus in addition to his weight he will have his strength to operate the tread. The function of the rope and weight is to keep the traces and tree from under the animal’s feet in case he should slack his speed, and thus prevent his tripping.” (Lines 59-66) Illustration is included.

Patent for adjusting devices for compressing rolls which “employed for compressing into a continuous thin sheet cotton fiber; and the objects in view are to provide a simple and convenient means for binding the rolls in contact, and when so bound to prevent any undesired yielding.” (Lines 10-15) Illustration is included.

Patent for a new and improved boot-jack. This design is for an addition to existing boot-jacks that allows for wet or tight boots to be removed completely after the heel of the foot is loosened, all without the use of hands. This additional apparatus can be adjusted to different angles by way of eye-holes and screws.

Patent for a bolt cutter made up of "a stationary cutter and two movable cutters operated by levers adapted to come in contact with the edge of the stationary cutter, with plates and bolts for securing the same together in proper position" (lines 12-16). The purpose of the invention is to cut the useless ends off bolts.

Patent for a simple and efficient churn where "the process of churning is rendered easier, the resultant product firmer, and butter obtained in a shorter space of time than heretofore, while at the same time the milk is left in better condition and rendered free from water" (lines 12-17).

Patent for "a simplified and cheapened construction of bridge whereby the weight and strain will be more equally divided and the braces so arranged that expansion and contraction laterally are avoided, while permitting of the necessary expansion and contraction longitudinally of the bridge." (Lines 13-20) Includes instructions and illustrations.

Patent for a churn. The patent is for a "means for adjustably securing a series of vertically-arranged breakers in a churn-body of any size, operating with a revolving dasher" (lines 8-11).

Patent for an improvement in windmills by providing “a number of converging blades which are arranged to the inner side of a casing, midway between the front and rear series of feathering wings or sails. These blades are arranged at opposite angles to the normal position of the feathering wings or sails. These blades are stationary and serve the purpose of deflecting the wind after it has operated upon the front set of wings or sails and directing it squarely against the rear set of wings or sails.” (Lines 90-101) Illustration is included.

Patent for a storage-condenser and lint-cotton conveyer based off two previous patents, one that the inventor was assignee of, Serial No. 552,724, the other one that the inventor submitted an application for, Serial No. 563,386. This patent simplifies the above patents and is meant to efficiently cleans the cotton, "to avoid the employment of the rotary foraminous drums or cylinders" (lines 29-30), to draw out the dirt with the air, and to regulate the amount of cotton that is supplied to the cotton compress.

Patent for improvements in tools for sinking artesian wells, that the tool “will perform its duty under all circumstance and excavate as well in hard materials as in soft earth, as quicksand and cavey formations, and will not have its functions interfered with when an insufficient flow of water is encountered.” (Lines 17-22) Illustration is included.

Patent for improvements in “tire-heating furnace where tires of various sizes may be heated either independently or continuously and having certain other highly advantageous characteristics.” (Lines 7-13) Illustration is included.

Patent for improvements in “a compound for the removal and prevention of dandruff;” (lines 7-8) formula of the compound is listed and instructions on how to mix the compound are included. No illustration.

Patent for improvements “in facing-slip and label holders to be used by mailing and postal clerks” (lines 13-14) “by providing a convenient and readily-accessible means in applying the facing-slips to packages of mail-matter and to adapt such holders for placement with respect to a case of letter-box as to always have such slips and labels with the receptacle containing the letters to receive a slip corresponding with such mail-matter.” (Lines 16-23) Illustration is included.

Patent for a durable, simply constructed, and inexpensive seed-planter. It has a main frame, adjustable supporting-wheels, diagonal parallel bars, disk-beams with "angular front ends pivoted in brackets on the main frame" (lines 48-49), and "disks supported by stub-shafts projecting from the spindle-supporting bar" (lines 49-51).

Patent for improvements in planters by having two hoppers C and D attached on each side of the concave wheel. A third and smaller hopper E can be interchanged with hopper C when planting seeds or grains. Hopper D is mainly for planting fertilizer. The bottom of hoppers C and D are provided with slides for the purpose of keeping the fertilizer, grain or seeds from banking up. Illustration is included.

Patent for a harrow that has "teeth bars or beams and teeth [that] may be readily cleared of rubbish and other obstacles which tend to clog the teeth and interfere with the efficient working of the harrow" (lines 16-20).

Patent for a cotton-press with "new and useful roller-compresses for making bales of cotton into a cylindrical or roll-form, and also having simple and efficient mechanism for continuously forming a bale all the time the compress is in operation, which result has heretofore been impossible in presses of that character employing only one pair of compressing-rolls" (lines 9-17).
