Patent for improvements on the piston sleeve valves of internal combustion engines which will supply power to the crank shaft. Includes instructions and illustrations.

Patent for a trap for rodents. The invention consists of multiple doors for actuation by the weight of the rodent. Illustration included.

Patent for a siphon flushing apparatus for water-closets in which it will regulate the quantity of the water being discharged at each flushing; at the same time it can prevent water leakage. Illustration is included.

Patent for "a novel application of hair-trigger catch to the main trigger, which operates together with a holder and separate springs." (Lines 30-33) Includes instructions and illustrations.

Patent for improvement in "tools for drilling or boring Artesian, oil, and other deep wells; and it has for its object to prevent the loss of the drill or auger or of any portion of the drill-rods" (lines 9-13) via an "improved means for connecting the tool to the lower end of the drill-rod" (lines 15-16) including illustrations.

Patent for speed-regulating devices that gradually increase or decrease the speed of a driven member automatically. This invention is applicable to motion picture film devices to increase or decrease the speed of the reel.

Patent for a device to securely fasten a hat to the head of a person. The device is hidden from sight when worn, may easily be removed, and engages both the use of the hair and the shape of the head in it's operation.

Patent for a new and improved gate. This design consists in "[t]he combination, with a swinging gate provided with a rearwardly-extending arm and a pivoted latch, of a crank-shaft journaled in said gate and connected to said latch, and an operating mechanism consisting of pivoted arms on supporting posts, rods or wires provided with loops and connecting the arms, one loop engaging with the rearward gate-arm and the other loop with the crank-shaft, and levers operating to give a longitudinal movement to the wires" (lines 65-75).

Patent for a new and improved refrigerator. This design "relates to that class of refrigerating or ice-making machinery wherein a liquefiable gas . . . is introduced into a compression-pump and is compressed to a state of liquefaction, the pressure being subsequently removed, the liquefied refrigerating agent expands with rapidity . . . and, the frigorific' effects produced by the volatile liquid again assuming its gaseous state, is utilized for absorption of heat; and the invention consists in certain improvements in the construction of the gas-compressor and its adjuncts" (lines 10-23).
