Patent for "an improved check-row attachment for corn-planting machines, the object of my invention being to provide an efficient mechanism for actuating the seed-dropping mechanism of the corn-planter and which my be operated by the feet of the driver or by a check-wire in such manner as to cause the seeds to be planted in check-rows." Patent for a wire fence building implement. This implement is "adapted to take up slack in an unbroken fence-wire, draw together ends of a broken fence-wire, so as to permit said ends to be spliced together, cut off surplus wire, and pull staples from the fence-posts" (lines 9-15). "When the table is closed or adjusted to its minimum length the leaves will be contained in the body of the table instead of having to be removed therefrom, as is usual" (lines 15-19) illustrations included.

Patent for a gin-saw cleaner. The invention "relates to gin-saw cleansers and tooth-straighteners, and has for its object to produce a device of this character which will be simple of construction, efficient in operation, and one in which the saw-engaging knives or members may be simultaneously adjusted to regulate them for operation upon saws which are spaced apart a greater or lesser distance" (lines 8-16) illustration included.

Patent for a sewing machine attachment that "aims to provide an attachment for use in connection with any sewing machine combining means for hemming, tucking, and braiding, the several parts being adjustable to admit of making hems any width and tucks any size and distance apart, the device being simple and comprising a minimum number of parts" (lines 9-16).
