A hydrogen gettering system for a sealed container is disclosed comprising packing material for use within the sealed container, and a coating film containing hydrogen gettering material on at least a portion of the surface of such packing material. The coating film containing the hydrogen gettering material comprises a mixture of one or more organic materials capable of reacting with hydrogen and one or more catalysts capable of catalyzing the reaction of hydrogen with such one or more organic materials. The mixture of one or more organic materials capable of reacting with hydrogen and the one or more catalysts is dispersed in a suitable carrier which preferably is a curable film-forming material. In a preferred embodiment, the packing material comprises a foam material which is compatible with the coating film containing hydrogen gettering material thereon.

Patent for improvements for a boiler skimmer or cleaner with suitable valves to control the blowing off from scum, steam or water.

Patent for improvement in automobile tires, resulting in more resilient tires that utilize internal spring coils that are encased in an elastic casing to protect against direct contact with the rubber tire.

Patent for a press that reduces the bulk of cotton, "allowing it to be baled into convenient form for transportation. It consists in a novel mode of attaching the side of the press-box, so that they can be speedily thrown down from the cotton after compression to allow its convenient manipulation. It also consists in a new mode of connecting the follower with its superposed lever, so that it can be readily turned up out of the way when the cotton is being filled into the press-box. Patent for an oil can spout that is used as a connection to a dispensing can which serves as a spout and as a stopper. This spout is easily installed and removed when desired, this spout also prevents accidental removal while handling.

Patent for a new and improved projectile. This design consists "[i]n combination with the ellipsoidal projectile having a truncated base, a plano-concave sabot or driver whose plane face is contiguous to the base of the projectile, and whose periphery is grooved for the attachment of the charge-container" (lines 75-80).
