Patent for a new and useful arm for telegraph poles.

Patent for a sanitary closet or a dry closet with the aim of providing the locals without sewage and plumbing an odorless and sanitary restroom facility, including illustrations.

Patent for a new and improved coupling for railroad cars. This design is "composed of the draw-heads having bars and forward cross-bar, and beveled on its outer end, and provided with slot above [the] bar, the coupling-bar pivoted at its rear end between [the] bars, and enlarged . . . immediately in advance of said pivot, and provided near its outer end with an opening, and the hook pivoted to and depending from the coupling-bar" (lines 78-86).

Patent for a horse releaser constructed so that the shafts may be released when it is desired to detach a horse from a vehicle. It also provides an improved means of holding the shafts in place and preventing them from moving when it is not desired to release the shafts.

Patent for improvements in bale-ties is to produce a “buckle-plate having a middle portion with an opening therein, arms at each end separated from the middle portion by spaces open at one side, a longitudinal entering-passage connecting the opening with one of said spaces, and a hoop the free ends of which are looped down through said opening and up through the spaces, resting upon the arms under the standing part of the hoop.” (Lines 74-83) Illustration is included.

Patent for a clothes pin, which holds clothes without stretching them and is easily taken on and off with one press of the clamp.

Patent for a type of wheel called a spring wheel, and will allow for simple and efficient means of producing a spoke, and eliminate the need for an inflated tire when attaching the spoke, including illustrations.

Patent for a new and improved coupling for railroad cars. This design "consists in the improved construction and combination of parts of such a coupling, in which the link may be raised and supported at different heights for the purpose of coupling with cars of different height, or for the purpose of raising the link out of engagement with the hook of another draw-head" (lines 26-32).

Patent for an upright piano. This piano's construction provides a "case in which warping of the sides and fingerboard support will be prevented, in which convenient racks for holding music in use may be provided, in which the music may be continuously arranged, so as to be readily accessible, and in which the sounding board and string-carrying frame by me readily inserted and removed and may be held firmly in place."
