It contains photographs and a map of the base, a list of ships present at Navy Day, and a list of shops and activities for Navy Day. Both items are related to radio repair and installation technician Gayle L. Robinson, who was a civilian employee at Mare Island Naval Shipyard during the war.

Booklet titled "A Handbook for Air Raid Wardens," which was one of a series of handbooks published by the United States Office of Civilian Defense instructing civil defense workers in their duties. The handbook includes information regarding the chain of command and equipment for air raid wardens, duties prior to an air attack, reporting procedure, coordination of services, home preparation and response to an air raid, and how to handle specific types of attacks (magnesium bombs, gases, etc.). Throughout the manual are pages to be filled in by the individual air warden, such as: the names and telephone numbers of the administrative officers at the precinct and city levels; where to send reports; and general notes.

Program for a luncheon honoring winners of the Army, Navy, and Maritime Commission Production Awards that took place on December 4, 1942 at the Waldorf-Astoria, New York, N.Y.
