Laying Out Fields for Tractor Plowing

Revised edition. Report discussing "methods of laying out fields for tractor plowing, of which there are two classes: 1) the method in which fields are laid out so that when the field is plowed the plow bottoms are taken out of the ground at the ends of the field and 2) those methods in which fields are laid out so they can be plowed without lifting the bottoms out of the ground in crossing the ends. The advantages of both methods and their suitability for different farming purposes are discussed." -- p. 1
